Easy, Peasy Fruit Fly Removal (Murder!)
Each and every year our home is besieged by pesky little fruit flies that descend on our home like locusts to the fields. I don't know where they came from or why like hanging out in our house so much but I'm not a big fan of party crashers. Especially those of the bug variety. Luckily for me I know how to get rid of them and luckily for you I'm going to share my limited extermination skills with you.
All you need is a cup, apple cider vinegar and dish detergent (the kind you use to wash dishes by hand with, not the kind for the dishwasher).
Just pour about 1 - 1.5 cups of the apple cider vinegar in your cup and add a few drops (no more then 3 or else it wont work) of the detergent and mix.
Set your cup wherever your problem area is (usually around sinks and any fruit that's out in the open) and leave it out in the open. Pretty soon you'll see the unlucky fellows floating in the bottom of your cup. I only leave our cups out for a few days (up to 3) before either the flies are all gone or I refresh the cups with a new lethal concotion. Either way you should soon have a fruit fly free home soon!
